Step by Step Guide:

1. Black, White or Dark Navy Tuxedo Jacket

2. Add a simple white tuxedo shirt

3. Black or navy blue bow-tie (reiterating bow-tie)

4. Tuxedo pants (and yes tuxedo pants do have that stripe)

5. Tuxedo shoes which are always patent leather or velvet.

The vest, suspenders, or cumberbun are the only black tie optional parts this evening.
