All of you attending both the ceremony and the wedding reception know Jordon and Bassam. However, Jordon is the only person who calls him Bass, and he’s the only person who calls him Jordie. So, if you hear these names during the ceremony or the reception, we promise you’re at the right wedding. Now, let’s get to the story!


New York City is one of the most populous, hectic, and busiest places hi in the world. For some reason,
New Yorkers seem to always run into the same people because of our routines and where we live.


The story between Bassam and Jordon is likely one of the most ironic tales of how love can blossom. They never saw each other out and about, never passed each other on the street and did not even have any mutual friends well one who introduced them one evening out and ironically enough everyone lived on 30th street just between 11th and 9th avenues. Jordon & Bassam just on 30th between 9th and 10th avenue.


Who knew that true love was only one city block away? The connection was instant. Most would say it’s crazy that within only 3 months they took a trip to Europe together, then moved in together!


The phrase...
...you just know when you know
was heard a lot in the beginning .


However every New Yorker would say,
the fact that you lived on the same street that is crazier!


Life can be hard, sad, disappointing, and sometimes so joyful and exciting. When you find that one person, that match, that somebody, you know you have found that one special person to share life’s journey, you feel more yourself finally and at ease.


They traveled the world together, with trips to Amsterdam, Miami, Paris, Mykonos , Rome, Cabo San Lucas, and in Sicily where in September of 2024 at the San Domenico Taormina Castle (The White Lotus) Jordon proposed over dinner. Bassam’s YES also included, you have really out done yourself!


More recent trips include Whistler Canada skiing for Jordons 40th birthday that they extended a few days even because, why not!


Lastly One of the most important trips they have taken was to Beirut Lebanon so Jordon could meet Bassams mother and family abroad.


The life that Jordon and Bassam now have together is something magical, something that most people dream about. What makes everything so magical is their true love for each other. Jordon constantly shares the most meaningful part of their relationships is when you see your other half happy that is when I am my most content and fulfilled. He knew that this was what being in love really meant.


When he is happy I am happy Jordon will say to anyone whos asking about how do you know he is the one.


Jordon and Bassam are completely supportive and also empathetic of each other. A true love story that all started on 30th Street only a few minutes walk away from one another between 9th and 10th Avenues in NYC!


Both Jordon & Bassam want to thank all our friends and family for joining us on this special night and celebrating not just love out for one another but to ring in the New Year, 2026 ! Thank you to all of our guests who traveled both near and far to be here and share this with us.


Jordon and Bassam are deeply blessed to have had the help of Jordon’s parents David and Shelley to throw us such a gorgeous engagement party and also help contribute to our dream wedding we have been able to share with all of our family and friends.
